Dal Zotto Wines are Australia’s pioneers of prosecco, planting Australia’s first prosecco vines in 1999, and then releasing Australia’s first prosecco in 2004 – the Dal Zotto Pucino Prosecco. Dal Zotto Wines are leaders of Italian varieties in Australia. Otto Dal Zotto was born and raised in Valdobbiadene, Italy’s home of prosecco. Now two generations of the Dal Zotto family have done extensive work to evolve and continually improve their range of prosecco. A James Halliday 5 Star Rated Winery, was named 2020 Halliday Dark Horse Winery of the Year. Producer of Australia’s highest rated prosecco, the Tabelo Col Fondo, scoring 96 points in James Halliday Wine Companion.

More acidic backbone than usual – and barbera is gifted with naturally high acidity – which may reflect the vintage. It brings a taut firmness of structure upon which sour cherry, mulberry, plum, earth, herbs and spice play. Still a little quiet on the fruit front, but give it time. Brisk with energy to burn.
