Appearance
This multi vintage Blanc de blancs displays colours of light straw with green hues.

Aroma
On the nose is exhibits citrus, white peach and green apple with hints of sea spray and toasted bread characters.

Palate
On the palate the wine has a rich and creamy texture with delicate but persistence crisp acid backbone that drives the wine to what seems to be an everlasting finish.

100% chardonnay. Light straw in the glass with a superfine bead and mousse. Aromas of baked apple, fresh brioche and apple turnover, soft spice, dried meadow flowers, curd, sea spray and roasting nuts. Light biscuity tones join in on the palate with fine, lacy acidity, the wine showing some richness as it trails away slowly.

A lively and sublime offering. There is a saline, fresh tang of crushed oyster shells that seem to be ubiquitous with Pipers River Chardonnay which is a real treat here. Fresh zesty lemons, crisp green apples, a whisper of praline and a little brioche all combine into a moreish and tasty glass of bubbles. Enjoy a bottle over the summer now if you want to lean into the zing but if you have the patience and the thirst for something a little older, find a good hiding place.
