Single-vineyard pinot noir from the Coal River Valley 'Killara Farm' vineyard of Gillian Christian and Todd Goebel. Such a pretty-smelling wine. Ripe macerated plum and cherry fruits, flecked with high tones of jasmine and citrus blossom along with hints of exotic spice, amaro, a whiff of watermelon and earthen nuance. Pure and expressive with a distinctly composed air to its travel across the palate, finishing savoury, stony and wonderfully balanced.

Savory aromas of wild blackberries, cedar, cassia bark and dried herbs on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and focused acidity, giving notes of dark cherries, mulberry bush and dried rose petals with an oceanic saltiness. Nice balance and structure from 15% whole-cluster fermentation.
