Established in 1978 by Sue & Dave Carpenter, Lark Hill is a family owned and operated Estate producing organic, biodynamic and sustainable wines from the cool climate Canberra District wine region. Second generation winemaker, Chris Carpenter, uses minimal intervention winemaking to showcase wines of pristine terroir from the diverse climates of the Canberra District, with premium single-vineyard wines from the Estate owned vineyards in Bungendore and Murrumbateman, as well as a range of regional blends perfect for by-the-glass listings.

Medium cherry red colour. Black cherry, forest floor and a touch of reductive aromatics. Palate has a lovely texture to it, fruit is red and black with a ripe sweetness over vegetable stock and dried rosemary notes. Tannins are supple but have the density to ensure it carries long and dry at the finish.
