Vintage Notes:
Leading into the 2021 vintage we saw fairly ideal growing conditions that were warm and dry. Early February and January saw a cooling off and significant rain events that slowed down ripening and retained natural acidity. The only downfall with these conditions was the added pressure in the vineyards to control potential fruit split and disease. Fortunately our vineyards were unaffected and the fruit coming in was pristine.
Amelia Park is a boutique producer located in the Margaret River wine region of Western Australia. We focus on producing fine wines of exceptional quality, combining leading edge techniques with traditional winemaking values and practices. Our winemaker, Jeremy Gordon believes that his success lies in a hands-on approach to every step of the process, attention to detail and an unquenchable passion for making consistently outstanding wines. This philosophy has seen Jeremy receive numerous awards throughout his career including Australia's most coveted award, the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy. Since launching in 2009, Amelia Park have been quick to make their mark, winning trophies at the most prestigious wine shows both domestically and internationally, as well as being awarded 5 Red Stars in the 2016 edition of James Halliday's Wine Companion. This award confirms Amelia Park on the list of the Best Wineries in the Margaret River region and in the top 5% of wineries in Australia.
