White Oak Akashi Blue Label Blended Japanese Whisky is reserved in Japanese Shochu casks (American Oak) around 2 years, aged in bourbon cask before finishing in sherry casks for 12 months. The palate has a wonderful fresh fruit mouthfeel with spicy oak, pepper and vanilla on the finish.
The only whisky in the world made by a grand master of sake ('Toji'), White Oak distillery applies sake methodology to the art of whisky-making to create Akashi. This means it requires less ageing to result in a smooth and delicate malt.
