It is seriously complex – layers of citrus and melon fruits are given additional interest with vanillin and almond oak complexity. It is also a nod to both the old-fashioned and modern Chardonnay style on the palate – there is generous and complex fruit with oak well balanced by crisp acidity, and even little flavour hints of nougat thrown in the mix.
