This is another excellent release. There's as much pepper as leaf, as much plum as blackcurrant, but there's a sinewy aspect to the tannin that is very cabernet and, as this variety often does, it uses mint\/eucalypt characters to very good effect; adding lift and life to the darkness beneath. Very nice. No mistaking it for Victorian Cabernet, and a charming wine all up. Good now, though likely better with a few more years on it.
